Chelsey Huffman began serving as Vice Chair of the Board in January 2025. Her connection to Hospitality Homes dates back to December 2015 when her family was matched with a host family while her son received lifesaving medical care at Boston Children’s Hospital. Over the next five years, Chelsey and her family relied on Hospitality Homes for housing during their trips to Boston for her son’s treatment. In the summer of 2020, the family relocated to Boston due to her husband’s career. Joining the board in 2020 has been an opportunity for Chelsey to give back to an organization that profoundly impacted her family. Her personal experience provides a unique and valuable perspective, allowing her to contribute meaningfully in her role and advocate for others in similar situations.
